One of the greats from the "sitting room" as Butler would say. If you can't appreciate 4:06 and 6:00 there's no hope for you.

I have a few HOOJ CHOONS vinyl, but this track, is it not Just Dreams by Quench remixed?

It doesn't reference it but its the main lead from it.

Yeah it's the same alright. I think the Lost Tribe track is more advanced, doesn't rely as heavily on the riff and has more to it.

Also the Quench track says nothing about "embracing the Goddess within yourself". No contest!

The more i think about that comment in the documentary, the more i feel what utter bull****e it actually was.

How narrow minded a view can you get when you have Trance tracks like these that were played in the best of venues,

If you cannot see the merit in these phenomenal tracks and the serious ecstasy and euphoric out of this world feeling they deliver you have definitely imposed a self inflicted snobbery onto yourself.

Was never a fan of that trance sound tbh, nothing to do with snobbery

Don't think it's aged particularly well either

Nah, wouldn't be big on that either

The "trance" genre is fairly wide ranging imo, I'm not saying I dislike it all but that particular EyeQ/Cosmic Baby type faster sound does nothing for me

Anyway here's a sample of old "trance" music I would still listen to although some people might argue this isn't trance at all so what the f*ck do I know???

On the above tracks, i would have put number one as Acid, Two as Trance..... and seeing as Trance is in the title of the third one well who is going to argue with the producer of the track:)

I will have a second punt at an Eye Q track, what about this?

Loving this new one from Future Islands

    It’s called For Sure

I remember when i first got my hands on this album when it was just released, i listened to it on Acid called globes when I was alone and i necked one, then i necked a second one a while later, and then a third shortly after that, listened to it on repeat from start to finish i think about 5 or 6 times that night pumping loud.

I have a deep appreciation for it ever since.

I also recall first seeing this video in a similar fashion about 7am one morning after returning from the Rave..... man it was fcuking weird,
