Here's a decent Detroit tune from the early 90s.
I first heard it on an old chris liebing podcast.

Nice track here, 90's vibe to it!

Holden is a great DJ, I seen him a few years back in Spyback in 08, he hasnt been in Dublin since.

I was just thinking of that label the other day. It's dead, and they havent done anything in years. Extrawelt, Fairmont and Ricardo Tobar have all released their latest stuff on other labels. I'd be surprised if they'll last another year or two to be honest.

they have had a FEW releases in the last year or so, hard islands from nathan fake and that.

plus with holdens new cd out this month, theres 2 or 3 new tunes / remixes that im sure he will release on bc.

I saw Holden about 5 or 6 years ago in a little club off Nassau street called Melodica. He was absolutely brilliant that night and it was one of the best nights clubbing I've ever had. I don't like his newer music as much as his older stuff, tracks like First Light (Ogenki Clinic), A Break in the Clouds, etc but still think he's a brilliant DJ

hadn't heard that in years - what a tune!

Is that on his Balance mix cd? I must dig that one out - it was always a great listen.

Not sure about the Balance mix. It was the first track on a Nick Warren 'Homelands' CD we got free on the cover of Mixmag or something like that. Great CD. Still have a copy of it at home!

Ha ha - that's proper oldskool. I still have most of those mixmag cd's too. Don't have the Nick Warren one though :(. Some of those are still class and I still listen to them in the car every now and then. Off the top of my head, I 'd say Hernan Cattaneo's, Cass and maybe Creamer & K's could be some of my favourite mix cd's ever.

    which Cattaneo mix was that?

    which Cattaneo mix was that?

Just googled it there and it was a actually a Ministry of Sound magazine cover cd, not a Mixmag one.

Danny Howells also released a Muzik magazine cover cd in 2001 that I still play a lot - it' amazing! There were some seriously good freebies dished out years ago.

I had a Danny Howells one too, though I think it was from 99. We played it at every session - it was brilliant. It was the first time I heard this tune, which (no word of a lie) I listened to non-stop for about 3 months on my disc-man :p It was the 2nd-last tune on the CD.

I'm going to be brave and incur the wrath of the mods and make a 2nd post of the day in this thread. This is from that Essential Millenium cd above....listened to this for months on end
