I was about to put together a dub techno set the other night and ended up drifting off into some 90s trance and techno... feckin got lost into about two hours of it and stuck this in, haven't played this in years but put shivers right through me all over again.

Loved that Castle Trancelott one as well - The Gloom on the other side was savage, still listen to both of them regularly enough.
I got the 2nd one on vinyl first I think - was mixing away at home and really liked 'Resonance'. As in REALLY liked it
Then played it to a couple of mates one night, they weren't into it as much, thought it was going to be one of those ones that didn't have broad appeal.
A few weeks later, went to play a large party up the mountains somewhere, Enniskerry maybe. Was about 4/5 tracks into my set, decided f*ck it - I love the track so I'll play it - dropped Resonance, tune meandered along as it does - gets trancey and sucks you in, then the long break, and when it kicked back in BOOM! everyone was whooping it up big time, the whole room went mental! It's one of those very vivid memories for me when you play a tune and you get a huge reaction you weren't expecting. Held a special place in my heart since:

Stunning track, Aubrey had some excellent tracks... this by him on his own on the New Electronica label, love it too.

CJ Bolland - Camargue

Picked up the early works of Ludovic Navarre (St Germain) yesterday and loved this track immediately.... it will be a frequent player for me while the sun is shining.
