Disgustingly good for this programme. Of all the people watching TV at the time of the show more than 1 in 3 were watching that.

    **** this country.

Not a hugely inspiring line up.. Ruby Wax might be a bit of fun though. Wonder what he's gonna ask Joe Duffy?

The viewing figures would have probably been a lot lower if the whinging ****s who spend their Saturday evenings on here hadn't bothered switching on so you've only yourselves to blame.....

How do they get away with producing this load of ordure? The primary reason for the good ratings is that time-slot is amenable to decent ratings i.e.situated just after the news when the golden oldies/termiallly dull/lonely will be watching in their droves.

Brendan O' Connor is having a 'mare as presenter. The guest are overly-exposed publicity-wise.The format/style is excruciating to boot.Sean Moncrieff would be more suited, despite his acknowledged televisual failures. How good was Don't Feed The Gondolas?

Fairly sure none of us having the ratings box. I know I don't. So how exactly am I affecting the ratings?

    He should've been a stand-up comedian.

Aha.. Ireland's favourite covers band.. LOL at the lads when the bagpipe solo was on...

Brendan's intro jokes were pretty good, but needed a bit more ooomph on delivery.

Cant believe he didnt ask Nicky about his father, but asked him about his father in law.. Very disrespectful..

He asked about the leg.. Joe with usual painful puns.

    AAAAAAAGHHHH!!!!!!!!

I've said it before on Boards but I will say it again:

IF BERTIE AHERN RUNS FOR PRESIDENT I WILL TAKE TO THE STREETS TO PROTEST.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,639 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

Why is it everytime that Westlife are on Irish tv that the interviews are the exact same. Pictures of their families, talk about upcoming Croke park gig, Nicky asked about Bertie....yawn.

For the life of me I can't understand how these or Boyzone are popular at all!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,718 ✭✭✭✭JonathanAnon

Show is very disjointed tonight.. O'Connor didnt know what to ask Westlife, didnt know who to address the questions to .. then Louis strolls on ... mics are only half working.. Not sure why they took a break in the middle of Joe's interview..

This show is possibly the worst thing on air, i dunno whats worse the simpleton jokes, oconnors turgid interviewing style or the gob****es in the audience laughing at it.

Why would joe give up 400k a year for hosting a radio show where he is king and people generally like him, to run for office where he would have to work 100 times as hard for 1/4 the wages to be hated by the public.. Why doesnt Brendan ask him some realistic questions???

Unfortunately some people cannot not see this. I'll put you on the list for protesting as well so, Pat?

Joe Duffy is a chancer. Talking about rich people in Trinity and he's on 500k a year.

What crap is on about at the moment?

No wonder he loves Liveline, he earns 500k a year for 10 hours a week.

I like Joe. Should be more like him. He's normal.

Fcuk off O'Connor and stay fcuked off once and for all.
