Cork/ South Ladies Meet Up?

Right, I'm just trying to gauge interest in this firstly! The Dublin ladies have loads of meet ups, and the Galwegians are quickly catching up with them, so I think it's high time the Southern ladies get in on this! So who'd be interested in a Cork (or thereabouts) meet up?

This is inspired by the 'Find a Friend' thread, so I'd have something casual in mind for a first meeting, rather than cocktails or anything (I know a lot of us are skint students!).

    Hi everyone,
Just wondering would anyone be interested in daytime drinkies/coffee maybe this weekend or next weekend?
It'd be a nice casual way for everyone to chat and get to know one another.
And my wine glass (security blanky) might help with the nerves :o

I would be up for that. When and where were you thinking?

Sorry, I've been so caught up in RL stuff that I forgot about this thread. This weekend is fairly busy for me, but I could probably squeeze in a quick coffee or early drink! It might not be the best time to meet me as there's high potential for tears, but I'm try and keep that under control :pac:.

    well people...

its my 30th birthday tomorrow and have to say I feeling pretty lonely so id love to do drinks or anything ye come up with!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 228 ✭✭Mary-Ellen

    Happy birthday imageworks :D

Don't really mind when and where,
How about we all say what suits us and we can meet in the middle somewhere.
    (I'm a bad decision maker ;))

This Friday evenings or saturday afternoons suit me in the city center or Douglas
And I'm really not bothered where we go
Was just thinking a bar that does nice coffee or a coffee place that does nice wine would give everyone a choice.

How about Tribes in the city center? You can have coffee and wine there so people can pick their poison.

    Maybe Saturday afternoon?

Once you get a date & time, start a new thread and pm me and I'll put it as a sticky at the top of the forum.

You could also post it in the Cork forum - us Galway ladies got most of our attendees from our own regional forum I think!

Thanks Xiney! In the Cork Forum we have meetups (which I organise 95% of) every single month and get a good mix of men and women. Even if the ladies here want female only meetups they were certainly get a good few ladies from the Cork forum (I know a lot of ladies in there who have not posted in this thread at all).

The Cork Forum is here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=478
