Hi guys, just wondering if anyone could point me in the way of any independant studies done on the above? Got caught with an important call in the middle of talking to the woman doing the promotion so couldn't question her properly but alarm bells went off when she said it didn't matter which form you took, it was all absorbed equally regardless of whether you chose shake, tablet or liquid form.

Trying using Google scholar to look for studies. I've never heard of this. What is it supposed to do?

Hi Eileen, here is a link to their site and the liquid form of the supplement:

So basically, it's a smoothie with a multi-vitamin added? If you take it on those terms, I'm sure it's fine. It's not going to work miracles.

    How much does it cost?

Its more like one of those superfood type supplements where you get a concentrated dose of veg. This one also seems to have a lot of added vitamins and stuff. Its about 40 quid for a large bottle in the local health shop.
Why should the form its taken in matter so much op?

    40 quid??? You're kidding me.

Seriously, for that money, you could buy lots of regular fruit and veg, and get the benefit of actually having something to eat as well as the nutrients.

I always suspect those things are to assuage the conscience of people who live on junk food, but tell themselves that because they have a spoon of some "superfood" they are eating a decent diet.

Pretty sure it was 40 quid for the big bottle, yeah.
I can see some benefits to things like this, a scoop of powder in a shake might add two or three servings of veg to your daily total, and its compact and doesn't go off. But yeah real veg is better for sure.

Im on my 4th bottle of Source Of Life Gold and have to say, this is by far the best multi-vitamin ever, over 120 different fruits and vegetables with all the nutrients you need and higher doses of each nutrient than most other multi-vitamins.

I don't care what any of you think, i've done my research, and the conclusion i've reached is that vitamins and minerals, whether supplements or raw fruit and veg juiced, cure all known diseases in the whole world.

Most diseases are not even diseases, they are nutritional deficiencies! Give the body what it needs (vitamins and minerals) and it fixes itself! We're truly on the verge of a world without disease.

On the verge of a world without disease? Are you blinded to the world at large?!!

Not at all, but it sounds like you might be...

I've never been so sure about anything in my whole life, when this gets out there properly, i mean what vitamins and minerals are REALLY capable of, the world is going to change dramatically.

A lot of people still believe what they're told about vitamins without really questioning it for themselves and actually trying them out for themselves. Those that do discover pretty rapidly that vitamins and minerals actually work and that most diseases are not diseases at all, they're nutritional deficiencies!

I take it you didn't even listen to that video i posted, there are 3 parts to it... some people will never wake up out of their denial about these things unfortunately, and that is very sad indeed...

so what veg do you recommend to cure cancer-leeks maybe?
did you type 'cure' instead of 'prevent' by accident?...if so i'd love to see your research.if not.....you're a big ejit who's clearly talking out of your back side.

your second claim is laughable....on the verge of a world without disease....does 'on the verge of' mean a few thousand years away from?....how long we talkin here....i'm excited!!

    Just sayin'...

Got this from the website, in relation to information about the content of the capsule form:
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Translation: We can write anything we want here. Don't trust us.

It's unlikely to hurt you to take them, vitamin overdose is actually pretty hard to reach, but if I were you I would steer clear anyway.

P.S. Pixel8, what diseases do you think are nutritional deficiencies? Cancer, influenza, sickle cell???

I would advise against continuing with this product. I used to take it too.
Research up on Potassium Sorbate, and Agave Nectar, Sodium Benzoate, key ingredients in this along with Citric Acid.
You will find a LOT of the things in your health food shop are......not healthy for you.
