It was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen, there were these two foreign lads trying to pull this yoke on their mate for at least twenty minutes absolutely comical. It was like a belly top on him.. WAAAAAY too small for him. It was in U.L. just in case anyone saw it.

He was wearing it while benching just wondering has anybody seen them before and what function do they serve.

    Yeah dude.. bench shirt:P

Never used one so I'll let some of the more experienced lads fill you in on what they do!:D

Its A Bench shirt, worn for powerlifting or bench press competitions (of which you must know nothing ) , Originally they where used for protection and support , but have they developed into an aid to press more weight, different associations allow different strengths/types of shirt - some are a step to far in my opinion , but single ply basic shirts are ok by me!! ,......... if it took 20mins to get on then it probably was too small or they didn't know how to put it on properly.

You should buy one and I guarantee you won't bench more in it. They were stronger than you. I wore my mates one once for the craic and couldn't even get the bar to my chest because the load was too small.

What you should have done was go over to them, ask what it was and take advice on how to get strong enough to have to use one.
