    Hey Folks,

Hopefully I have put this into the right section!

Wondering if anybody as a recommendation for a good free web filtering program?
something that cuts out any unwanted surprises that kids can stumble into.

    Thanks

You could try a dns based service such as:

    http://www.dyndns.com/services/dynguide/

What you do is configure your router to use dyndns's dns servers instead of your isps, so any time someone in your network does a lookup - dyndns checks it against your "defense plan" where you select content to exclude.

What ISP are you with - what router is it?
