I've just started working in Westport and was just looking for opinions on places to have lunch in the town. Not looking for anything fancy, just a carvery or pub grub.

Down in the quays theres a cafe called the creel which is brilliant (oddly closed monday and tuesday) but in middle of town try cosy joes!

castle court carvey is the best in the town.. the pile it high in there..

Wyatt hotel do a fabulous 8 euro for any main course special Mon-Sat...it's excellent food!:D
