Serious elbow injury.... What to do?

I've seriously injured my elbow and need to go for an MRI. Xray didn't show A brake. Both doctors and physio are unsure if it's tendon/ligament or deep bone bruising or even a combination of them. Either way it's looking like I'll be unable to train my left arm for at least 2 months.

    I have a few questions:
Should I ignore all excercises that involve arms or should I continue to train my right arm a bit?
I've read that the body trys to even things out and by training just one side of the body can encourage some growth on the opposite side(or in this case slow down muscle brakedown) Anyone have an opinion on this?

Im am planning on focusing on legs in the meantime.
I have tried squating and deadlifting and both are possible with my injury.

I know there will be a loss of mass in my arms, shoulders and chest but will the deadlifting prevent mass loss in my back?

When I'm healed will it be a struggle to get back to where i was in terms of my upper body? Or will muscle memory help me here?

Did you ask your physio anything about this? Is it possible to do any light training at all. I mean extremely light. Definately your physio is the best to ask in my opinion.
