Is Summer Glau a "show killer" (i think not)

... Summer Glau, pretty as she is, is bringing her icy touch of cancellation to NBC's superhero drama pilot The Cape. She'll play an "investigative blogger," whatever that is, in this show about a cop who becomes a semi-superhero. Glau's previous roles include stints on the high-profile cancellations Firefly, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and Dollhouse.

And to be fair, there's absolutely nothing special about the girl!

She's a stunning looking girl, but far from a talented actress!

I'm biased, I've met the girl few times.
She was even at my wedding in England.

She is a great actress in certain roles but so far hasn't found the one role that will break her out mainstream.
For those that are unaware of it, she is an extreme talented dancer and is qualified in certification as well ask having the actual physical skills, at moving to music and of many styles within the dancing world.

That writer is off his trolley, Summer Glau has to be most technically perfect Terminator ever.

I've yet to see another human capable of delivering such emotionally flat lines, deadpan expressions with vacant eyes.

She seems to of been preparing for this role throughout her whole acting career, and oddly... has been continuing in the role even though T:tSCC has ended

She doesn't look like Sigourney Weaver. SW was a stunner in her youth and is still a fine-looking woman. Glau is just hmmeh (you think about for half a second and shrug).

Anyone else hoping she tries out for American Idol just so there's a SLIGHT possibility that might get cancelled!

Same might be said about Nathan Fillion (whom I also met) but sooner or later, they all hopefully get lucky and find their stride.

just watched Firefly and Serenity and i have to say she's a good actress in that, though she has had terrible luck when it comes to choosing shows.

just looking through her page on wikipedia, and any show she's appeared in for more than one episode has been cancelled:eek:
