I would guess it could be worse than a steel knife in that it can break off also rough edged plastic would be more susceptible to leaving an infection.

i'm not really getting some sick kind of joy out of the fact that huntley is being tortured but i'm not sad about it. the people who are attacking him will be punished accordingly i presume. i'm sure the girls parents would much rather their kids home and alive than trying to seek solace from their killer being tortured in prison.

This means that you would do to yourself what the scumbags in the prison did to Huntley, which can only mean that you approve of it.

You're not sad about it? I'm sure am. Not in the 'boohoo' sense, but it the sense that not only does violence like this still occur in 2010, but that some people will turn a blind eye to its horror and immorality, as long as in their judgment, the victim deserves it. I don't think anyone deserves to have violence inflicted upon them - the exception being self defence.

Does anyone else think it's weird that some of those incidents were he was attacked by other inmates, were done by rapists. Is that supposed make them heros or something? Personally i'm happy at all these attacks but i'd like him to be dead now.

The reaction here is, I would think, pretty representative of how the vast majority of people would respond, in words if not deeds. It’s rather remarkable that the societal response to people like Huntley has evolved to be so civil given the natural and widespread urge to have things, most uncivil done to his like.
