    Hi all,

I've been on WW for the last few months and all is going well but I'm not sure what to eat for breakfast. Up to now I've been eating Bran Flakes but I know they're full of sugar. Can anyone suggest a filling, low point, little hassle breakfast? I don't like porridge. I have tried to eat it numerous times to make myself like it but I just don't like it so that's out.

Suggestions don't necessarily have to be cereal based but I don't have a lot of time to prepare breakfasts in the morning.

    Thanks!

Porridge pancakes - can make them in advance and reheat them in the toaster, or just have the mix ready to go in the morning. Eggs are quick and easy too! Or fruit and natural yoghurt?

    strawberries,blueberriesetc in natural yogurt.

egg whites scrambled or egg white omlette with lots of veggies thrown in. both options take no more than 5min tops

Eggs! Poach them, scramble them, boil them, make them into an omlette.

Fruit salad with natural yoghurt on top, or make a little granola type cup with granola oats, natural yoghurt, and fruits you like. (I like orange segments, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries in mine.)

What about a smoothie? Such a good way to get loads of fruit and goodness into you and you can make it using fruit you really like.

i know you don't like porridge but you should try mixing yogurt into it and it's really delicious

Is weetabix with low fat milk a good breakfast or bad 1.

I get my bus around 7am and I've found if I eat my breakfast beforehand I am ravenous by 11am. Breakfast would normally be porridge with a little honey. I'd have an apple or something around 11am but I'd be fit to drop by lunch time.

The one exception to this is if I have a 2 egg omelette. That seems to keep me full until about 12.30.

What I've started doing recently is bringing two slices of homemade spelt bread into work with a low fat bio yoghurt (glenisk or similar). I have one slice of bread when I get to work, one around 10am and my yoghurt around 11.30. By doing this I'm not absolutely starving by lunchtime.

I alternate this with an omelette once or twice a week with a yoghurt or an apple as a back up mid morning in case I get hungry.

So far it's working for me.

I think it's grand. Porridge or eggs would probably be better but Weetabix is one of the better boxed cereals.

im not sure of the points but how about kippers - not to everyones taste i know, but theyre very filling.
You can get ones that come in a plastic bag (in marks and spencers and maybe other supermarkets but i havent checked) and all you need to do is pop them in the microwave for a few mins so a very low hassle breakfast. Serve with a slice of toast or slice up a tomato :)

I had these recently and they were vile. They were laced with so much salt I was gagging for the day.
