Well it won't be long coming round now!
    The Summer Holidays.
Are there any good bargains to be got on a sun holiday,/
Where's the best place to go?
Any suggestions, or where are you off to?

Smugglers Cove, Kirrin Island, Southern England.

My horrid tomboy cousin and her wretched, common dog will be there as well but beggars can't be choosers I suppose.

I'm going to.......to..........Ireland. I have been away from home for two years, I'm living in Ecuador right now. Just going home to see friends and fam and to take a quick trip to germany and then I come back here. Curious to see if things are as grim and if everybody is as depressed as I keep reading and hearing about. I'm really looking forward to it, I have to say I can't wait to have my first breakfast roll in two years, also brown bread, and some chocolate digestive biscuits.......uummmmm:)

When did holidays become some sort of God given right?

This isn't aimed at anyone in the thread, it's just weird that so many people assume everyone goes on holidays every year

Theres nothin like having flights and hotels booked for a holiday which is afew weeks or months away. Everytime things get you down you can just say, "fúckit im off to X in afew weeks time :D"

But why? Some people can't afford to pay their mortgages/ car loans but they then go and borrow money to go on some stupid holiday because it's the norm. I don't get it.

Not going anywhere this year, but I can't recommend Tunisia highly enough. Go for two weeks, we went for one week and regretted it. So much to see and do.
