Just wondering if anybody had any ideas on a diet that could help to reduce stress??

Im a a classic emotional eater and want to avoid grabbing junk food etc when times of stress are high, so if anybody had any suggestions I'd be really grateful, thanks!

I can't help with the emotional issues, but you cut out thing which stress your body, and replace with foods that are helpful, you'll improve things a lot.

Cut out anything high caffeine, so no coffee or coke, and keep tea as weak as possible. Cut out sugar and refined carbs, anything that will cause an insulin spike. That tends to create rebound hunger when the insulin subsides. Cut out processed food and things with artificial sweeteners or colours or preservatives.

Instead, drink plenty of water, eat lots of fresh food, especially lots of green veg, organic where possible, extra virgin olive oil, oily fish, eggs etc. Get your carbs unprocessed, so green veg, fruit, root veg, nuts, seeds, small amounts of wholegrains (porridge, not cheerios).

Get regular exercise and go to bed on time. Lack of sleep is extremely stressful.
