i would get foam rolling on it asap and plenty of stretching. do some light body weight squats at the start of any of the sessions to see how it is and if it is still an issue foam roll, stretch and repeat

Yea started off with a few 60kg squats. As soon as i moved upto 90 it hit me. Its been actin up the past week so think i'll have to drop the squat for atleast a week :/

Prescribed stretchin it is so :D

Just tried to squat there today.

    Pretty bad :(

Warmed-up with body squats, the bar and stretchin. Thought after a week it would be ok but soon as i put 20s on, went to squat, my right thigh felt very tight aswell as my left groin area.

Balls! Another week of no squats :/

Go to a physio man, you might have done something serious.

    Possibly.

Could climbing in and out of my car do it?

I know it sounds silly, but its pretty low and the fact that im 6'4.

Haven't a clue, to be honest. I know I used to feel squatting in my groin a lot, increased flexibility has taken care of that. Honestly though, go to a physio or it could get a lot worse.

    Happened me before.
I'd say foam roll & stretch like Transform said.
If you don't have a roller, but you are bloody minded, a rolling pin will do.
It hurts but it can help loosen out the muscle, note here that the roller is much more pleasant way of going about it.

But thats assuming that you know the difference in pain between a really tight muscle and a tear. If it feels like a tear go physio.
