Has anyone tried submitting CV's to online agencies? I have submitted lots of CV's for jobs for which I am well qualified and experienced, and have received nothing but automatic replies. I feel I am wasting my time, maybe I should be out knocking on doors with a CV in a plastic folder. Has anyone an opinion on this?

I think it is generally known/accepted that most agencies these days put up a lot of fake positions for CV farming purposes. Hence while you may be suitable candidate since there is no real job behind it...
