What's the story with the powerlifting competition on the weekend? Entries thru Shane at the IPO?

Shane is competing in the strongman under 105kg so we have invited the IDFPA to run a show at the expo we hope to have this confirmed in the next week. USN are sponsoring the prizes too!

Also Ger MacNamara who has won just about every title there has ever been will be doing a seminar on Powerlifting training and techniques. We have asked Andy Bolton to join him which would be great.

Fair play for organising this, you have done an amazing job, I didn't make it to the show at the weekend but I heard great things about it from a few people and I will make the SCL in June.

It's looking like it's gonna be a bench only comp judging by a cryptic message posted on the IDFPA board yesterday/today.

Im not too sure myself yet but even so it gives you guys at the IDFPA a chance to compete onfront of a big crowd and will help promote powerlifting which will be good so hope ye get stuck into training.

We also have stand spaces if any companies are interested and we have some very good seminars in the pipeline.

We are still looking for clubs organisations and companies to get involved with Sports Expo Ireland. If interested contact info@sportsexpoireland.com

We are close to signing a deal for the Expo to be broadcast on TV after it has taken place which is another reason to get involved!

count me in. as long as the awareness is there people will come. lots of people i know, with keen strength and fitness interests dont know about the expo. i've even talked to people that have no interest in training that seem amazed that this is coming to limerick. would it be possible to get a few adds run on a national broadcaster-radion or tv. if thats not in the budget even get that shi!!y program nationwide to do a piece on it. feel free to ignore all this too! either way i'll be there
