Good Strapless Bra

    Hi ladies :)

I figured this would get more feedback here than in F&A.

I'm going to a wedding in June and have a beautiful one shoulder dress to wear to it. I've worn one shoulder and strapless dresses before but I've never been happy with the support the bras I've worn gives me. I'm a D cup so there's quite a bit of cleavage to support ;)

Can anyone recommend a good strapless bra? Any alternatives?

    Thanks ladies :pac:

if you are in dublin, go to bramora

they are on earlsfort terrace ( i think - they have a website so can double check)

they cater for bigger boobs, and can meet all straples/halterneck/low back etc requirements

    very helpful lady there

    well worth a trip

Wonderbra do a really really good strapless bra (comes with detachable straps!), which gives great support - I think it was about 30 euro, available in House of Fraser in Dundrum, and probably anywhere that sells Wonderbra!

Went to a ball recently, where my friend had a very low cute plunging back on her dress. She's a DD and we managed to find some "bras" that you stick on under your boobs, to give cleavage. I'm not sure what they're called, but they were fairly thin pieces of material, which you could peel off and they would become sticky! On top of this, she also used the usual stick-on cups you can buy and she said it was absolutely perfect! Sorry it's not much help but you may want to keep an eye out or ask for the boob-lifter things in any lingerie store!

Fantasie do quite a good strapless bra, make sure it's tight enough though, nothing worst than it slipping down all the time.

If it is a one shoulder dress you could get a strapless bra but use one strap on one shoulder or cross it over the back.

I can highly recommend panache strapless superbra. I found it really hard to get a nice strapless bra that fits anything over a D cup but this bra is brill. I got mine in debenhams.

Honestly I think that once you get as far as an E cup your better off with the support of a corset rahter then a strapless bra.

That actually sounds really interesting, especially if you got a dress that really flattered an hourglass figure. :)

Hi OP here, yes it definitely does sound interesting :) My figure is very much an hourglass.....goddamn hips are the bane of my life  I've often though about a corset but the ones I've seen don't seem to be much good. Has anyone any experience with corsets and good ones?

P.s I've tried the Wonderbra strapless bra and it's really good :) Wore it out with a strapless dress a few weeks ago and the girls stayed put all night and none of that pulling it up every few minutes either :D Thank you!
