Think Hull will be too jaded after that defeat to Arsenal yesterday. United to win it 10-0.

Michael Carrick returns to the Manchester United squad for Sunday's Premier League encounter with Fulham at Old Trafford. Carrick missed Wednesday's hammering of AC Milan through suspension but is set to replace Paul Scholes, who followed up his goalscoring exploits at Wolves with an outstanding contribution in midweek. Ryan Giggs is still a week ago from a return after breaking his arm last month, while Ritchie De Laet is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a leg injury in last night's reserve team encounter with Manchester City.

Fulham forward Clint Dempsey could be in line to make his first start for two months in Sunday's match against Barclays Premier League leaders Manchester United. Dempsey came off the bench to make his comeback from a serious knee injury against Juventus last night. Captain Danny Murphy faces a fitness test on a groin injury while Nicky Shorey, who was cup tied for the Juventus match, could replace Paul Konchesky at left-back.

Manchester United (from): Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Foster, Neville, Rafael, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evans, Evra, Park, Valencia, Carrick, Scholes, Fletcher, Gibson, Obertan, Nani, Rooney, Berbatov, Diouf.

Fulham (from): Schwarzer, Zuberbuhler, Baird, Kelly, Shorey, Stoor, Konchesky, Hangeland, Hughes, Smalling, Gera, Duff, Murphy, Greening, Davies, Etuhu, Riise, Nevland, Elm, Okaka, Zamora, Marsh-Brown.

    hopefully 4-4-2

Touche Salesman. That match is ingrained in my conciousness...haven't been as angry watching a match in a long time.

Hoping Fulham can do Arsenal a favour here but with the midweek game, I suspect they'll be a bit off today - you never know though.

he didnt have much to do against Milan so that ment his defending was ok but his attacking was very poor, yes he set up rooney but besides that cross, his attacking was very poor

I lost count of how many times he ****ed up a cross

Gary Neville is brilliant. No matter how bad he plays. Leave him alone.

Hope Berbatov runs a muck today. Would love to see Fulham well beaten.

Neville did well against Milan, so lets hope he can continue to push on.

That, bar O'Shea for Neville, is I think our strongest team available. I hope that Berbatov and Rooney can continue to develop their new partnership based on Berbatov dropping and Rooney playing very high up front.

maybe so.think hes prone to a lot of errors myself. neville certainly warrants regaining his place,he played well the other night.

No he is not, he makes alot of mistakes and Gary neville seems to be over his injury and getting some consistency back

No he is not, he makes alot of mistakes and Gary neville seems to be coming back to what he was

People must still remember that he is only 19.

Looking forward to seeing that Berba-lencia-ney combo for some goals today :)

1 game out of the whole season ?
compare that to raf who has been great for us this season

so 1 good game is consistency now , bloody hell.

Well he's not on the bench, so Im assuming he must have some sort of knock. I wonder where Evans is at too...

Murphy to continue his old Liverpool habit of scoring against United. Just have a feeling that Fulham are going to get something today and keep it tight amongst the top three. Hodgson seems to be able to get his teams to do well against Ferguson teams. He would make a bloody fortune if he could bottle whatever he does. :)

    2-2

raf being great this season?think hes given away a few penos, stupid bookings, red card, got ran rings around by bellamy and ronaldinho in games v their teams and ya say hes been great.but hey hes still young, hell learn from his mistakes.fergie saying same thing after both games.

it seems clear to me that Raf is injured. FFS, GILL is on the bench, he wouldn't get in ahead of any fit senior defender, so the fact he is there shows that there are no other options imo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,789 ✭✭✭✭keane2097

Saying Raf has had a great season is extremely generous imo.

Really not a fan of that red ball. Looks like one of those default ones you ignore in Pro Evo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,602 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Neville is having a rubbish game, his first pass only went to Valencia's feet, it wasn't a through ball to set up a goal  ;)

Corey Evans among the subs where does he play?

tis a defender, not sure which position though, think its centre half.
