I want to apply for my bus operators licence. I have completed and passed my CPC course. Part of the application process is to have a vehicle which can carry 9 passengers or more. I don't have one of these, but I want to get my licence then when I have secured a route for the bus I will buy one. Basicly I don't want to shell out money on a bus until I have work for it and I can't get work unless I have the licence.... anybody know anyway around this?

Why don't you get a route licence first? (Not that that is easy.)

You know you are right. I read over the requirements and an operators licence is not one of them! You see I am trying to get a route licence in a small town and I don't want to let too many people know what I am doing. That is why I am on this site. I really appreciate this feedback.
