Keeping an eye on Diaby for this one. He's a great player, good control and picks out some excellent passes

Have a feeling he's only going to score one today and spurn a few really great chances too

Don't think he'll miss many chances today, just hope he gets some!

Hah, did you see the wee fellah lining up with Arsenal? Grinning like an idiot and waving to the camera, he completely shuns Boateng.

    Nice Rugby Markings

was just thinking that meself. You think they could have put the dissoluble paint on for Chrissake!

Record crowd too apparently for the KC. Over 25k, they reckon it's because Arsenal fans are better behaved than others in the league, the divide between home and away isn't as large as normal :pac:

That's magic from Shava yet again

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,983 ✭✭✭leninbenjamin

Splendiferous. Typical Arshavin, picks the ball up on the edge of the box, a little jink to around the defender and slots it home having only the goalkeeper to beat.

    1-0 to the Arsenal.

    lovely goal from Arshavin :D

    Nice one :D

Great defensive header from Vermaelen there!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,571 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

As with our first goal midweek that he set up Arshavin had absolutely no right in getting through the defenders there.

Eboue, Bendtner and Arshavin are switching about very well up front.

****in connection went about 5 minutes ago, missed the goal. Anyone got a browser-based stream? My modem doesn't like Sopcast.

Despite the goal, Arsenal are looking very casual in possession. They are going to get caught on the counter today, hope it doesn't lead to goals being conceded. :(

Yeah Vermaelen broke forward there looking for a quick cross but didn't get it and then stayed up and we got caught out at the back and Hull got a cross in.

    lovely footwork from Eboué there.

When did Eboue turn into Zidane?:D

    peno for hull

    Poor from Campbell.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,983 ✭✭✭leninbenjamin

Looked a bit harsh, did Campbell catch him with the leg? Looked more like Venegoor crossed his path.

Bullard converts from the spot. 1-1.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,943 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

    great peno

    Off side :(

Saw that coming as soon as I saw Campbell closing him down.

    Offside though tbf.

offside, but still stupid from sol

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 595 ✭✭✭Souless

he was b*stard offside when the ball was played anyway, peno my arse

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,942 ✭✭✭missingtime

    Soft penalty but well taken

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,983 ✭✭✭leninbenjamin

Should have been a peno for Bendtner. Not only did he lean into Bendtner illegally, but did you see the arm on the shoulder from Mendy? Always annoys me the way benefit of the doubt is given to the defenders in those situations.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 595 ✭✭✭Souless

how many fouls till someone in an orange jersey gets a card?

    Ref is ruining the game

    Ref is ruining the game

Needs to get the cards out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,571 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

We're playing well but no real incisiveness in the final third.

Eboue and Diaby playing very well

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,501 ✭✭✭Fuzzy_Dunlop

    Finally a ****in yellow card.

Denilson has been fairly good so far

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,983 ✭✭✭leninbenjamin

Boateng should not be on the pitch, he raised his hands ffs. And why did Bendtner get a card there? Ref is very frustrating. Almost as frustrating as Arshavin's shooting since the goal.

How does Bendtner get a card for that???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,211 ✭✭✭Royale with Cheese

    This ref is a joke.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 595 ✭✭✭Souless

how did Bendtner get a card for that? getting your eye in the way of a finger is a yellow card offence now? ffs:mad:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,571 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

This is the kind of game were we really miss having Song running around bashing people.

that craig fagan seems to have more power then the ref, why has he not been booked?
VoH was 100% offside. Imagine if we lost the league to that decision, disgraceful! hull are cynical spoilers

    Melodramatic much?

    Melodramatic much?

well the ref has ruined the game so far, don't understand how he is incharge of a premiership match. The only thing Hull have offered in this game is fouls galore, must be well into the double figures now :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

    Boateng, what a plank.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,983 ✭✭✭leninbenjamin

Boatend deservedly goes off. 3rd times a charm I guess.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,046 ✭✭✭✭L'prof

First sensible thing the ref's done!
