Nob Q...! can you use the RJ45s on a router to connect non wifi laptops to a network?

    My flat mate has a laptop with no wireless, can he use a RJ45 cable to get connectivity while I use the wireless...?

    99% of the time yes.

    My Xbox is plugged in while me and my gf's laptops are wireless.

    Just in the interests of safety :) i.e. falling over the ethernet cable - there is nothing to prevent your flatmate adding wirless via either a usb dongle or a pcmcia or express wireless card depending on how old the laptop may be.
