injury and fitness

    well im currently injured had a bad fall on the knee there last week left me with 13 stitch`s..

    any ways i could keep fit any tips im also on crutchs so im limited at the moment?

    use to train 2 nights at weights and 2 nights at physical gaelic training so im wondering will my 6weeks or more on the sideline effect my weight and fitness much would you reckon as i dont really plan on putting weight on anytime soon

    If you are completely immobile your going to have adjust your calorie intake to avod weight gain. Upper body weights are your best bet at this stage. You should use it as an oppurtunity to really develop your upper body strength.

    im not immobile but its difficult..!

    if you dont mind me asking could you explain calorie intake? as i dont really understand all that..?

    so i should stick to upper body work outs for the time being..!

    Yea, now you should focus on nutrition while you are injured.

    That will keep you balanced and ready to bounce back.

    Bad luck on the fall mate, get well soon.
    If you're fairly fit I don't see a 6 week layoff as making much of an impact.

    You'll rebound fairly fast I'm sure.
    As the OP said just don't use it as an excuse to eat more. Plenty of material on diet around, now may be a good chance to brush up!
