Just started back at the Gym for the first time in 10 years used to be fairly fit played ball and boxed many moons past.
My main goal is to loose weight Im currently 18 st.5ft 11. Was 20st 9 lb 12 months ago and have just watched my diet to loose that.
Im ready to go all out now and make major in roads into the rest of it.
The Question is should I concentrate on Cardio in the first instance or should I Introduce a full body strength work out from the begining ??? Plus Is there any point in working the abs when Im carrying so much weight ?
I Can train about 5 times a week for 1 and 1/2 hours.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

weights are an important part to weight loss....and working the abs/core is essential at any weight as you will need core strenght to assist in increasing your main lifts...

post up a typicall diet day and some idea of what training your doing?

How does the above workout seem as a overall strength training regime. Am I missing out on anything ? should I do it 2 or 3 times a week ? How long should I do it before I start changing routine ?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
