i know theres loads of threads about protein but am looking for advice for people who don;t like milk but use protein shakes. i don't think i'm lactose intolerant (have a tiny bit of milk in tea and a little drain of it in cereal) but i just don't drink it. can you mix these shakes with water and if so are they drinkable or taste like muck?? some of the chocolate ones mentioned in other threads sound nice but i don't want to spend €50 to get something i'll drink once!

You can get sample ones from myprotein to take the risk out of it. I only mix mine with water and find them grand. Strawberry's probably best with just water.

Whey isolate or casein have almost no lactose, so you should be fine with them.
