Is losing weight as easy as cutting down calories??

    Hi Guys,
    Basically I’m looking to lose about a stone I put on recently !! My diet isn’t the best for I know I can keep it fairly consistent which means its realistic and less chance of me going off the rails!

    Breakfast: Porridge & usually throw in mini box of raisins :)
    Lunch: Apple & Chicken Fillet & Muller Light Yoghurt
    Dinner: Chicken Curry with brown rice

    Snack: Ryvita with peanut butter or some almonds!! Even the odd time, organic rice cake!!

    Exercise: 40 mins of cardio X 3 Times a Week

    I’m usually the old fashion diet and basicially lowering calories & exercising more!!


    My question is simple , can I lose weight, Maybe 2 pounds a week by following this :


    Would love to lose 1 stone is 2-3 months:) :)

    diet needs some sharpening up and simple answer -

    not all calories are created equal so just by cutting your calories initally you may see a drop but over time its honing in on the carbs and getting a good balance of good fats (your diet is not showing much) and protein that will be key,

    Also exercise without doing any weight training is a reallllllly slow way of making fat burning progress

    That’s the thing, what kind of weight trainings should I do, I read all the time weight training with cardio but wouldn’t know what weight machines to use:

    I was thinking of trying 15min of HIIT on the threadmill & then half hour or that of weights?? But I wouldn’t know where I should start on the weights bit??
