Rowing Boats Hire Dublin?

    i've been to Berlin and Barcelona.. in their parks you can hire paddle boats and it's great fun :)! anyone know where in Dublin or close to Dublin where I could hire a small paddle boat-rowing boat ? I've searched on google for hours and all I can find is the garda boat club on the liffey. Or Kayaking clubs wind surfing. NOt what I want. I'd like to know of parks or rivers lakes where one can hire a paddle boat? i'm off the drink and now I want to take part in the outdoor world!

    There's no where that I know of that rents rowing boats in Dublin.

    A guy put some paddle boats in Grand Canal Dock last summer, didn't last a day, boats were damaged / sunk. It was on liveline.

    You can hire open boats with outboards in Bullock Harbour, Dalkey

    I know it's probably a bit late but I have only seen this thread now.
    We hire lake boats for rowing or with engines on Blessington Lake which is close to Dublin.
