Gentlemen's Club Beers! 27th March - No3 Fade St, Dublin

Evening all.

The evenings are getting longer,flowers are blooming and the birds are starting to chirp so what more reason is needed to have a gentlemens club night out?

Ok so the above reasons are pretty lame but feck it,it sounds good.

Ive never been to a boards beers before so Im sure some of the more seasoned campaigners (Im looking at you Will) would be able to add some ideas and what not.I was thinking late March/early April as a time period.At least that gives the gents that may need permission some time to butter up their better halves.:pac:

Date - hows about either Friday the 2nd or Saturday the 3rd of April.Saturday would suit me best as I will be training it up from Mullingar but could make it at some stage if Friday was better for the majority.


Venue - Hogans is a pretty good bar,spacious enough and usually a pretty good atmosphere however thats just a random suggestion.Im sure young master Will would have some suggestions.


? - This is generally where yager/tequila/sambuca comes into play.Much merriment ensues.

Profit - Made it home with wallet and phone intact.Result!

I'm assuming that this shall be held in Dublin yes? Also, to clarify, is this a male only event or may both men and women attend?

The Gentlemens Club is not an exclusively male club. There have been female guests from day one...thankfully! Someone needs to tidy up.

As for your second question,I take it thats a gentle dig at tLL and the recent kerfuffle about their female only meet up,dont be that guy That_Guy,you're bigger than that.

Big covered courtyard with plenty of seating. One of my favorite cigar spots. Bit pricey though. No cheap beers there.

I think thats good friday because the 4th is easter sunday. I might be wrong however. Haven't been the best catholic in my 20 yrs. not sure if I am one anymore actually

It can do. Last time I was there was at Christmas and the place was mental. It should be a bit quieter these days.

I just googled it there,you are correct,thats Easter weekend so I reckon a better idea would be the weekend before or the weekend after.

Tell me more about this No 3 Fade St OG,Im rather intrigued.It could be a good starting off place.
