Who feels sorry for Ashley Cole?

Initially I thought he was a lying cheat son of a b1tch but today I feel different.

    Think about his situation:

    1. His mother in law was living in his house. I know that if my mother in law was living with my wife and I our sex lives would be non existent.

    2. Cheryl was never there for him, both emotionally and physically. She was putting her career before their marriage

What are other people's views? I really do think that there are two sides to this story and not all blame can be put on his shoulders!

He's a footballer and I couldn't give a fiddler's what he does when he's not playing football. Can't people have private lives that are remotely private anymore?

I don't feel sorry for a man with salary like his and a wife like Cheryl Cole. He ****ed it up.

He makes £100,000 per week for nothing more than kicking a football about the place and has had a series of flings with hot women.

Yes, my heart bleeds for him

Surprised I don't have to que up to flame this sillyness.

Yes....he cheated on his stunningly hot wife with a dirty trampy moonpig. Got caught and now can no longer have sex with Cheryl Tweedy.

The only way I can feel in any way sorry for him is the fact that, he like myself can now no no longer have sex with Cheryl.

The mother living with them does add a different slant to it, but surely they'd have a big enough house to have a bit of nookie without being heard?

    He's still a tool

i couldn't give a shyte about either of them. i'm only interested in her staying skinny and thus providing a pleasant portion of eye candy each time i see her image.

Thing is I also have a wife with a demanding career and one which means she's away alot.....but that doesn't mean I go off and cheat on her everytime she hops on a plane.

I might be old fashioined but doesn't fidelity go with the whole marriage thing!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,712 ✭✭✭neil_hosey

who cares.. hes rich, he can buy his new wife. Im fairly sure he wouldnt give 2 sh1ts about you!

Why feel sorry for someone so loaded with cash, its rediculous!

  • Moderators, Entertainment Moderators Posts: 10,446 Mod ✭✭✭✭xzanti

    You're kidding right?

He's a married man, he went looking for sleezy sex with other women, and then tried to hush them up so she wouldn't find out, no I don't have any sympathy for him.

If the mother in law living there and her putting her career first was bothering him he should have ended it with her, what he did was just disgusting, he wanted to have his cake and eat it..

That's the way I see it anyway..

Hasn't he (or the press) come out with a different excuse for him each day, looking for sympathy? Lots of people don't like their mother-in-laws, but they don't go round shagging everything with a pulse because of it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,352 ✭✭✭daveyboy_1ie

    Ashley Cole does!

Any pics of the mother in law?

Look at their house, I doubt she was in the room next to them somehow, she probably had her own section of the house completely seperate from them.

And no, I don't have an ounce of sympathy for him. She gave him a second chance after the last time he cheated which was more than he deserved.

He s a tool. He was lucky to get away with his straying the first time. No sympathy for the man at all.

Ashley was a major dick before he got to together with miss Tweedy and every one was amazed when they announced there engagement 10 months later. But he was obviously her type and they bought into this Posh and Becks rubbish. His autobiography proved how big an ego and out of touch with the real world he is and probably thought that it was his right to be unfaithful as he's the most important person in the world.

At the end of the day Cheryl does deserve some of the blame as she did date and marry him.
Que the next headlines when she hooks up with some other singer/footballer "I've found true love now", "I'll never trust again", This time it's different" etc.. etc.. can't wait.

I'm delighted for him! Lucky fella is away from Cheryl Cole, I love to know why people love her so much! Why do celebs have to air their dirty laundry in public??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,423 ✭✭✭tinkerbell

No sympathy for him. Oh and Cheryl's mother moved in after Ashley first got caught cheating in 2008.

I'm delighted. Moron jumped at the first chance to get into bed with another slag.

Cheryl is beautiful and classy! His loss. I hope she's riding that new fella of hers to piss him off.

Frankly, I don't give a toss about Ashley or Cheryl Cole. People are so so innocent. I would imagine they had no marriage whatsoever. If Ashley was sleeping around as reported and sending those pics then all was not well at home. Surely a wife would know of several affairs, especially ones at over night hotels. And if Cheryl didn't know, then to me this would suggest either (a) She did not care or (b) There was no love there anyway and the marriage was a sham.

If i had to guess i would say Cheryl would not at all be surprised by what he did but is humiliated itwas made so public. She had no choice in the matter but to annonuce their separation (I would also imagine she was advised this by her management)in order to gain some form of credibility.

I am in no way at all trying to defend Ashley Cole here. But who are we to judge him? We don't know Cheryl Cole, she could be a wagon to live with. And why on earth would you move your mother into a marital home? No doubt that would cause a huge amount of tension.
I think it once again shows that people are entering into marriage carelessly and celeb marriage is definitely very different...

And it sickens me to read time and time again of how 'classy' Cheryl Cole is. The nations sweetheart? This is a girl who was reinvented by a very strong team around her. She's lucky she had the looks and they took it from there.

How does anyone know what she or he is like, as opposed to the images her/his pr people have wanted us to see?

How can anyone tell if they are really like we think they are, as opposed to they are completely unlike what our image is, and the image(s) have been carefully created by PR people ove the years?

Its funny how the press use "celebrity" (what a devalued term that is) to sell papers, and the "celebrity" uses it to maintain a high profile, and so many people can't see how manipulative and cynical it is, dependent on us al to buy the papers and keep talking about non entities who the papers tell us are celebrities.

I am glad to say I have never seen either Cheryl or Ashley ( I think he's a football player) and thank god that I am not so easily manpulated to want to know anything about their "lives" ( for "lives" read what their PR people have cooked up together to keep them in the headlines).

Why do so many fall for this sort of stuff, and why does anyone believe it?

This actually reminds me of the simpsons episode where they believed a little boy, Timmy O'Toole was stuck down the well. The drama and Homer called him a hero. Lisa questioned Homer then as to what made him a hero... Because he's stuck down a well?

So now Cheryl is a SAINT because she went all croaky and teary eyed (cha ching $$) on the X Factor and now because her husband cheated on her.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,759 ✭✭✭✭dlofnep

    LOL @ the jealously.

So she made a mistake. Doesn't everyone in life?

    Sure.

Come on will you, don't believe the manufactured image. She done very well out of using his name and now she has made it I wonder will she go all out to reinvent herself or stick with her current name?

She is very smart in using the media, I will give her that. But people who fall for the hype deserve nothing more than these two bit, talentless 'celebrities'.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 285 ✭✭not_xanthor

If you asked me how long ago that was, i wouldnt remember. It seems like longer than that....

She's come a long way with no particular talent, and a large makeup budget. Which would sugest to me that she has a fair bit of neck herself.

Ashley Cole is a still a ***** but i doubt she's the easiet person in the world to live with either, and she's not the living saint some people seem to think she she is.

I look forward to the 'You're jealous' retorts or whatever else people will come up with in attempt to conceal the fact they've been distracted by her PR people.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 115 ✭✭Little D

I'm not a fan of either but, if Cheryl is a nightmare to live with and he was so unhappy he could have asked for a divorce and left her instead of cheating on her their is no excuse for cheating in a marriage its wrong no matter what the circumstances!!!

Iv made mistakes in life, none of them involved assaulting a woman!

While I agree that her behaviour in that instance was inexcusable , it doesnt excuse her husband cheating on her! ( no matter how rich and pretty she is)
I dont think jealousy even comes into it dlofnep, I feel sorry for her,

Isn't he supposed to be gay anyway? That was the rumour when they got married but I could never understand what was in it for her. It's amazing when you think of how many footballers there are playing in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales and as far as i know, none of them are gay. Anyway, gay or not, i can't stand him or his wife.

Ashley has some serious emotional issues.
