Injured shoulder - excersise help

    Hi folks, I hurt my left shoulder bad last July when lifting a heavy shelf in work. I didnt bother going to the doctor as I had pain killers at home which helped a lot. When the pain went away I was left very poor strenght in my left arm and is still the same today 7 months later. I used to be able to lift 30lb dumbell free weights now I can only manage 15lb max with my left arm. The right arm is fine. Is there any excersise I can do help build back up the strenght in the left arm? I dont want to pay a Physio as I dont have the money.....
