    What is the difference between

    1. Doing Cardio i.e. rowing and treadmill followed by weight training

    2. Doing Weight Training followed by Cardio

Apologies if this a very rookie question.

    Thanks

    Khurram

Doing cardio before a weights workout will waste energy needed for lifting weights. Whereas doing cardio after weights training or a non weight training day won't affect your lifts.

Yes pretty much everyone says that if your going to do both Cardio and weights to do weights first.

Plus it's safer. If you run out of energy on the treadmill, it's not a disaster. Running out of energy mid squat can be.
