Edinburgh has the stronger bench but I still think it will be a Munster win.

    Looking forward to the game.

Looking forward to another boozy Friday night in Musgrave park - just hope the wife doesn't keep moaning about standing again!

Munster look the stronger side alright and would be surprised with a loss. This could be the night JDV romps in with a hat trick. I love Warwick at 10 - what a great footballer.

Donnacha Ryan gone off, Paul Warrick aswell.
    Not a great start.

No place kicker on the pitch now for Munster.

    Rocky start from Munster

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Update to injury list, Niall Ronan who went "off for blood" might not be coming back on.

    Still 0-3 to Edin.

Try Munster, 5-3 with 17 minutes left in half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

    Penalty Edin, 5-6 now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Deasy is killing us, is there seriously not a better place kicker on the pitch? Two easy kicks he's missed now.

Edit: He just slotted a 3 pointer, hope he can prove me wrong .

    Good hussle Deasy. :)

    8 - 6 to Munster.

Just started watching before Deasy's penalty, did Warwick and Ryan's injuries look serious?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Fogarty you f-ing clown, knocks it one 3 metres from the line.

8-9 to Edin at half time.

Just started watching before Deasy's penalty, did Warwick and Ryan's injuries look serious?

Warrick got a knock to the leg or something early on, stayed on limping for a few minutes but eventually came off.
Ryan got a cut on his forehead I think, it was blood sub at first but he never came back on even though at one stage it looked like he was ready to come back on.
No news yet on how serious either injury is.

Looks like Glasgow are suffering from the internationals' absence, 30-0 down to Cardiff at home (at time of post).

Not sure about injuries - missed first 25 mins - but Stringers passing very refreshing after TOL's recent performances.

Denis Fogerty is absolutely shocking, one of the worst hookers playing at such a high level.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

    The lineout is appalling.

Never been a huge Stringer fan, but the speed of pass relative to TOL is light years better.

Great try from Deasy, nice break and chip over the FB.

    Shame about the conversion.

Stringer's excellent passes hugely influential for the try, he's putting his hand up for Twickenham.

Deasy deserved that bounce with his break and chip. Good try.

That is stringers game. Stringer best skill was always his passing and he has had a great game tonight imo.

19-12 Stringer Man of the Match - so much for him being finished!
