    Hi There,

Just wondering how much you guys think this 27U cabinet is worth?

I saw that a 42U unit with 2x 48 patch panels went for €350 on adverts.

I'm guessing I should offer about €150 max for this? or should I start at €100?

    Thanks.

    Is there doors with it?

Without doors it is worth new approx 200, shelves 18.00 each. All new prices. I'd offer 100 and see how it goes.

hmmm you might get 200 from an avid home network user or small office wanted to tidy up on the cheap..

Whats that about the 42U going for 4 grand??? did you mean 4 (for) 350??!!

Looks like its taken from the rear ( oh er missus ) and that it has a glass front door.

    Also look like its 600 X 600 ( wide X deep )

If so then limited space for stuff like vertical power strip.

Would 600 deep be deep enough for server / avid stuff ?

27U bit difficult to fit in a lot of cars - freight may be an issue

In summary, if you get an offer of 200 I suggest you take it

    Bon Chance

    Thanks for the replies guys..

Apologies for the confusion. I'm actually buying it from here. Actually, I've just secured it for €125.

Going by what you guys say it sounds like i'm getting a good deal. If you follow the link you'll see that there's also a back cover included.

I'll be using this at home for 1-2 patch panels, 1 switch and a coax patch panel. I also plan on throwing a tower desktop or two in aswell (standing vertically).

This could be considered overkill for this right? What do ye think?

Freight won't be an issue but thanks for the heads up..:)

    Thanks.
