I tried following Ruby for a day a couple of weeks back, turned out to be a disaster, I blew alot of my bank as I was feeling cocky having had a nice run. I'm thinking of trying my luck with Morris and Fox over in Wolverhampton, those 2 boys keep beating my selection every time. Best of luck.

yea your probably right, last 50 with level stakes would cost you 50pts and win you 49.07 pts at sp..but i,v seen so many been double price of the sp night before, need to back blindly and get on early i guess

expect all to shorten alot at sp.....
So last night i was 4.38pts better off than the sp today,,Lush was 6-1 on betfair last night,
so 4.38 pts over just five tips is alot..over 25 tips that could be over 21 pts difference,
so to follow ruby and make it pay if it does that is, you should follow blindly and take a price night before on betfair,, rubys average is one win in every 2.9 races...thats from last 50,,over last 100 that average goes to a win ever 3.03 races,,so if you can combine than strike rate and get those early prices then who knows, could be few euros to be made, all those wins are 1th places..
not to mention his good 2nd and thirds with high price horses,,,, good ew bets with a 1/2 a pt..
everything here is made up with sp prices, and other jockeys used like BJ and others ,,
so maybe i should set up a thread just for rubys rides and use betfair night before race prices and give it 30 days to see outcome,,,,,,,,

7-2 is 3.5...or are u talking about betfair where your stake is added to price, i took that into account,,,ie if the price on betfair says 7...i know its 6-1...ie one less,,,,
i also dont minus my pts for bets in play,,so i dont add my stake point back to pts total,,if thats the extra pt you speak of,,,

hi, yea i know this and removed stake pt... i cant make up a 7-2 price as 4.5 and add that stake pt...as i didnt remove that stake point when i placed bet in thread,
if i had removed it or ie place a bet,then of course i would add it back,

You should have a look at Ruby riding for Mullins in Ireland and riding for Nichols in GB. According to the stats from the last 5 years you can't make money just backing all his mounts. He did have 2 winning years but lost overall.

I dont know, I remember seeing stats for jocks when riding for specific trainers somewhere........ maybe it was racing post signposts........ or possibley www.AdrainMassey.com.. used to do them at one time. I had a quick look on his site but dont have much time at the min..
