Sorry, bit of a question for the ladies.

Was in the bar earlier, met a friend, we start chatting.
Friend is with his friends, he introduces us.
People move off until it is me and a girl.
We have a brief chat, but I made her laugh.
We both finish our drinks, and she offers to get me one.
I decline and move to rejoin my friend, who I had something important to discuss with.

A mutual friend then proceeded to inform me that her offer to buy me a drink was actually a woman's way of expressing interest.
I had taken the offer as merely politeness, as we are in the same course in college, and it was a 'talking' pub.

    Any thoughts?

This is not a forum for guys to get womens advice. If you were interested in her you should of accepted her offer and taken it from there.
