You know that rubber thing that you screw into the wall in the bathroom to stop your door bashing against the metal knobby bit at the end of the towel rail and putting a hole in your door and making your bathroom look a bit sh*t?

    That thing probably.

Surely it would've been the second wheel? Rich Hall would agree.

No invention can possibly match up to sliced bread. It set the marker, and nothing surpassed it yet.

Kinda irrelevant, but why was sliced pan such a great invention anyway?
We can slice bread ourselves. People are hardly that lazy?

There are so many other better inventions that I'm struggling to name just one. Paper maybe. Or agriculture.
    Probably hair straighteners actually.
    :pac:

I'm making a sambo right? I go to the bread bin, do I need to bring a knife??

    NO!

That's the beauty. I take out the butter, then get a knife.....oh dammit....

Buttering bread is the tricky part anyway, if the butters hard it makes bits of the flimsy pre-sliced loaf

Sliced bread is a pain in the arse

It's hard butter that's the problem. Can't someone invent a butter/butter dish that keeps it at a temperature that it's always spreadable. (real butter).

Butters supposed to be kept in the fridge though... such a device would harbor the growth of bacteria and the product would soon become unusable

The whole system is beyond repair.. it's all a ploy to sell more sliced fcuking bread!

    You'd think for £30, they'd include a picture!

I guess I've been running that risk, I tend to keep a few days worth in a butter dish. In the morning time though (or anytime the place isn't warm, the butter tends to be cold and hard).
