If You Had To Eat The Same Meal Every Day......

If you had to eat the same meal every day for the rest of our life what would it be?

    Hot N' Spicey Pizza?
    Smoked Cod and Chips?
    Bacon & Cabbage?
    Shepherds Pie?
    Lamb Chops?
Fillet Steak with Mushrooms and Onions?
    Chinese, Japanese, Thai?

For me it would be a giant piece of top notch fillet, very rare, fried mushrooms, deep fried onions and Italian chipper chips with plenty of salt and lotsa vinegar!

    How about you?

I'd pick a perfectly balanced halthy meal on the grounds that I'm going to be sick of the sight of it anyway after a few weeks, so why not eat something that's good for me. Next.

Most people have no idea what 'Eye Of The Round' is, well in my circle anyway!

Best bit of roast you'll ever eat!

Nothing too fancy....I would have leak soup with 4/5 smalll rolls for starters, ham and turkey with vegetables, mashed potatoe and gravey for main course, apple tart and ice cream for desert all washed down with a chilled pint of carlsberg.

Love the Christmas Day dinner too, but you'd be surprised how quickly you'd get sick of it. I'm sure we've all the cold turkey and ham leftovers for a few days after..

Strange that I could eat a fry-up every morning and never get sick of it though.

I love carrots and sweet corn, but even eating a bowl of them would still leave me hungry within an hour of eating them.:pac:

If I did have to eat the same thing over and over it would be my mam's meatloaf.

Her recipe for meatloaf is delicious.
Not so nice when it's hot out of the oven, but I could eat it forever once it gets cold.

/I know it has meat in it Abi..:(

My nanny's cabbage and potatoes  Made by anyone else and it wont do.

I used to love visiting my nanny's just for a bowl of the stuff, then I'd wolf it down before anyone else could finish there's so I could get seconds...

Would happily eat it for the rest of my life.... never found anyone who could replicate the taste though
