Ovi maps

I have a Nokia N85. Some of you might know that Nokia are giving free OVI maps on their website to certain phones (N85 not being one of them). Anyone know a way around this, without the paying part?!

Make sure it's V3.03 - as I was trying to do an update with 3.0 updater which is still the paid version.

As far as I can make out it is just the list on that link tha gets it for free. You can download it alright by clicking on support but at the end they ask you to pay.

Not for the N85 yes though

Explicitly - free navigation's just for these handsets at the moment, and only for phones running the requisite firmwares

I'd be pretty confident that's version 3.01
That's Ovi Maps too but not the version with the free navigation.

I used it to drive to Waterford and to an estate in Dublin I didn't know on Sat. and it had voice navigation and everything so working fine for me.

The version is 3.01 and I have noticed that my licence expires on the 1st March and it says I had a 30 day free licence so must have got it in the update ?:o

hmmm .. Did it mention if you were on a free trial ? You tend to get a few days free.
Try "options > shops and licenses > my licences"

I was editing my post when you replied. I had the same idea.

anybody knows why nokia limited the navigation license to these 10 phones. Any plans of releasing it to other models. I have an E71

They've mentioned bringing it to older models but nothing as yet.
