With all of the messing around with NAMA, bailing out banks, tax payer being a sucker : I would recommend you to re-read Colm Keenas excellent book, Ansbacher Conspiracy.

The sheer depth of tax evasion uncovered in the Ansbacher equiry is breathtaking.

The book gives a detailed account of how Des Traynor, Jack Stakelum and Sam Field Corbett facilitated the transfer/administration of hot money between Grand Cayman and Ireland.

Needless to say all these men were trained in the accounting firm Haughey Boland.

The involvement of CRH, James Crean, the major banks are mentioned throughout the book.
The so-called elite of Irish commercial life, many of whom had Ansbacher accounts, is well documented too.

    Timely read.
