    Hi,

I am looking to strengthen my core and stomach. Aim is the elusive 6-pack. Anyone got any good advice?
    Is this book any use?

    Thanks

I dont know what the book is like but you dont really need it.Getting a 6 pack is more a case of diet so clean yours up.Having said that I neglected my abs for so long thinking deads and squats would cover it..Recently I have started doing:
    4 count flutterkicks.
    situps
    hanging leg raises.
    the plank
stabilisation stuff on a stability ball
    Med ball woodchoppers.

You could add some of those?

Disregard anything which promises to do it in 6-weeks.

Abs get shown through having low body fat.
As such the phrase "6-packs are made in the kitchen" gets bandied about.

All the ab exercises in the world wont show anything if you have fat over the belly.

Yeah they ARE made in the kitchen, but even though everyone is born with said abs, cutting down on bodyfat itself wont be giving the six-pack the op wants...core work is also needed for the definition once the BF% drops low enough.
