UL Open & Munster Weightlifting Championships

    Hi all.

    The 2010 UL Open & Munster Weightlifting Championships will be taking place this coming Saturday (6th Feb) in the Sports Hall of the Physical Education & Sport Science building on the University of Limerick campus. Weigh-in is from 11am-12pm and the competition starts at 1pm and should continue until 3.30/4pm.

    Lifters across all age groups, male & female, will be competing for top honors. This is the first competition of the year so it is hoped that there will be a decent turn-out of both athletes and spectators. As with all Irish weightlifting competitions, it will run in accordance with the guidelines of the Irish Amateur Weightlifting Association (IAWLA), International Weightlifting Federation (http://www.iwf.net/) & the Irish Sports Council.
