Can you get aids by someone sneezing at you?

I know this is not the right forum but i need information now!!!!

Basically i was in the post office and some low life welfare junkie type sneezed in my face. Can you get hiv/aids this way? should i go to the doctor for a aids test?

So there I was in the post office today, queuing up to get a postal order for something I was buying off a guy in the buy and sell. I'd been out last night, so I was a little worse for wear, haven't shaved, and I hadn't had a shower yet either cos the post office is just down the road.

Anyway, there was this young fella standing behind me, like *right* behind me. You know those people who are so close that they're almost climbing into your jocks? I felt a sneeze coming on, so I turned to the right and put my hands up, but it was a biggie and the eejit standing on my heels gets a little bit of ricochet on his cheek. Serves him right for not giving me some personal space.

So what does he do? Freaks out. Start going on about AIDs and Swine Flu and ranting and raving before running out of the post office and jumping into a car where his Ma was waiting.

I've never felt so humiliated in my whole life. Thankfully your incident wasn't too embarrassing OP.

I dont know what to say right now. Im hoping its just me being very paranoid. The WHO http://www.who.int/features/qa/71/en/index.html does not mention sneezing as a method of hiv transmission. I think i should probably go to bed.

I also doesn't mention a host of other ways you can contract the disease. You ingest infected blood, then you could contract the disease
