How much is my laptop worth?

I'm thinking of selling and would appreciate some advice from the members of the forum.

IBM Thinkpad X60 Tablet:

Standard Specs as follows:

6363-54U: L2500(1.83GHz), 1GB RAM, 80GB 5400rpm HD, 12.1in 1024x768 LCD, Intel 950, Intel 802.11abg wireless, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, Secure chip, IEEE 1394, Fingerprint reader, 8c Li-Ion batt, WinXP Tablet Edition

The screen is the "multitouch" (Pen and single finger touch) model

Upgrades/ additional information

Ram has been upgraded to 3gb.

Easyserv warranty until 28 December 2010- that's free parts and labour

Machine comes with an extra, OEM keyboard.

First battery still holds 95% charge- up to six and a half hours use

Machine comes with a second, unused original OEM 8 cell battery with greater than design capacity

Also included: fully legitimate copy of Windows 7 home premium.

Matching "ideastyle" IBM branded sleeve

Obviously would include power adapter, original packaging etc.



So what do you think it's worth?

Ah, apologies. I have added my query to that thread- I was not familiar with it. Perhaps one of the mods might be kind enough to delete this thread?

Having moved my thread over to the other forum... three days later it has received no responses- besides, I think that the denizens of laptopland might be better placed to give a good estimate.

If it seems unseemly for someone with such a low postcount to make such a request I would just note that I lost access to my usual account after boards was hacked. That account was registered under an old work account I no longer have access to.

If anyone here could give a little advice on this I'd appreciate it- it's just that it's quote an unusual machine.

You should look up that model on ebay with the same spec, that should give you a good indication to what its worth second hand.:D
