cheating?

Its a joke, didnt want to satrt a new thread and glorify this but last night in sabotage on the PS3 in about 10-15 games it was done by 3 seperate people in a couple of games the funny thing was that these people were on my team and ended with good K/D ratios but we lost the matches as it was usually 2 people working together.

Its a joke really and is making the game useless, if i play in a game and this is happening i have no problem leaving it and taken the loss, i even sent the guys a message saying what are ye doing, and they got pissy saying i was a fag for not trying it.

Idiots.

i tried this thing to shame.:( i couldn't get it right. so i don't know do you have to stay alive to do the care package or it while you have it when re spawned. i intend hunting down these Bastards using this. the quicker its fixed the better. fully agree with bein shoved into US lobbies. screwed every time on the obvious lag

I was having a FFA game last night.
And not only did i have some one use the care package glich but another 2 were boosting as well.

Why do people do this anyway.

they just patched it on ps3 but there is a simple way round it, looks like this glitch isnt gona go away anytime soon:mad: care package glitch that is

You are on the money with the time that we start having problem.
We can play all evening then at about 9:00 it finds 0/50 games.

If I log off then back on at about 10 then it seems to have sorted it-self out.

The funny thing is, NTL are promoting there Broad-band aiming it at gamers.
I'm hoping to get a new router in the coming days (Linksys WRT120N) so hopefully this will resolve the NAT issues. The WRT120N has been recommended to me by a number of people as the best router for connecting to Live and online gaming.

i joined a domination last night on afghan where the other team was using the care package glitch and were running away with the score.

unfortunatly for them someone on my team was boosting and called in a nuke :P.

I would have pissed myself laughing.

How many of there team then came on in the lobby and started " you cheating F*****s, there's no way you got a nuke"

The last two comments seem to be a reflection of this game, I use to love playing COD put the last couple times the sky has been full of harries and choppers. The game is lossing out big time here, and the age limit of the players boosting and glitching could also be called into question.

Good luck guys trying to get honest players to play the game.

At least some of the cheating has been taking out of the game with the latest patch, on PS3 now, not sure when xbox gets it;

We've updated the PS3 version of Modern Warfare 2, including the following fixes:

- Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades sprint speed normalized.
- Fix for "infinite care package" exploit.
- Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry.
- Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s.
- Fixes to prevent various XP hacks.

Xbox 360 Players:
This patch has been pulled from Microsoft certification to add in additional fixes. We'll update once it has re-entered certification.

Well as I've said before, playing Mercenary team deathmatch reduces the amount of glitchers and boosters to some extent.

On the PS3 at the weekend I came across a few infinite-care pack glitchers but for the most part my games were glitcher and booster free

However, yes, the so-called infinite-care package glitch fix doesn't work...they're still at it

Don't know whats going on with Domanation. Of late its almost impossible to get a game in it. You could be sitting in the lobby for ages waiting to join a game. End up giving up and playing TDM or SnD

It seems that the ever hated care package glitch is not gone in fact PS3 users have found a bypass that works on the Xbox360 this means when the patch drops the care package glitch will be going even better than ever Throwing a spanner in the works of IW as this the most reported MP glitch right now gets new life so don't think you will see an end to this glitch for another month or so
