Fetac Points (L.I.T) Info?

    Hello I was just wondering I'm a student in limerick and I need some advice on a matter.

    I'm attending a level 5 fetac course at limerick senior college.
    I was interested to know could someone help me out with my query.

    I am interested in going to L.I.T (Limerick Institute Of Technology) and the course I'm after is only 200 points and another at 280 points there both level 6 and level 7, I was wondering can I go straight to the level 6 after passing my level 5 or is there a points scheme that's involved.
    I'm currently attending 7 out of 8 modules, I don't need the other it isn't mandatory, I'm lost on the matter to be honest.

    I would greatly appreciate some help thank you.
