Been looking for a non comedogenic/non pore blocking body lotion for ages now. Can't find a body lotion that actually states this on its packaging, have looked at all the well known brands. all body lotions I see are for normal skin or dry skin. What about us greasers?? Don't understand this as you can get facial skincare products that are for oily skin and are labelled non comedogenic. Have even tried health shop, where was looked at blankly, and asked if thats my skin type why would I use a body lotion anyway. great help:confused:

You can use a facial skin product on other skin too. In fact, most facial skin moisturising products are formulated to be milder on the skin because the epidermal skin (outer layers) on the face is thinner than anywhere else on the body (except the scrotum in males*).

Most body lotions contain heavier amounts of oil, that's why they feel so silky. If you have oily skin naturally then look for a lotion (for the face or body) that is made using an oil-in-water vehicle. Avoid baby-oil or products containing petrolatum in the first 3 (or so) ingredients.

*Don't ask how I know that :pac:

My face and scalp get so greasy I have to wonder if I have excess testosterone or something.

Anyway, my body isn't as oily, but I rarely use body lotions. I exfoliate often though, and if I don't I find that I have what appears to be flakey skin. So maybe try exfoliating?

    Could be your Mediterranean heritage.
Italian people have very greasy skin. It makes it super soft though.

Almond, Jojoba and Olive oil are non comedogenic

Ah thanks for your replies:D. yeah I do exfoliate regularly. Was going to try an olive oil body lotion i saw in Boots, think will do that. Half my problem is that i'm a pernickety mare at the best of times, so when could not see those magical words "non comedogenic" on bottles, would not buy! had read somewhere alright that jojoba oil is good ingredient also. seriously though get so fed up at times being a greaser!! its a few years since my teens now:(. Though they do say greasers age better:D
