Decade: Overall Best Game of the Decade

    Rules
    - Best Game of the Decade on ANY PLATFORM
    - No more than 3 Nominations per person, please.

    - To ensure a good spread across the decade, at least one of your 3 nominees must be from 2000-2004 (all 3 can be from that era if you want!)

    - Please specify the game(s) and the console(s) they are on.
    - Game must have been released on or after January 1st 2000 (search for the game on www.gamefaqs.com and look at the data tab for a release date).
    - Nominations of Games for all regions are applicable, providing the games work on PAL consoles (N/A for PCs)
    - Vote will take place soon.

    GTAIII, and I can't believe nobody else has mentioned it. Released to mediocre reviews and with no hype, it sold millions, sent a new genre into orbit, and left publishers scrambling to ape it.

    Resident Evil 4, for perfecting the action game.

    Guitar Hero, for making it acceptable for grown men to play with plastic instruments again.
