Don't see what all the fuss is about, I've had PC's since waaaay before the internet and never paid for internet security.
Use firefox, AVG free and windows firewall and never had an issue.
Money for old rope if you ask me.

AVG has become an abomination since version 9, utter and complete tripe. Avast's new version 5 is still the best free antivirus around and its streets ahead of AVG. A lot lighter on system resources too, but having said all that Kaspersky is still one of the best also.

After years of using AVG I switched to Avast a few months ago, within a week had a virus that it didn't pick up. Am back using AVG even though it has got very slow and resource hungry in it's latest iterations

Can't say enough good things about Kaspersky. Been running it for the last few years. Well worth the money and the 2010 version even comes with a built in "Sandbox"

Sorry to go off the topic but I removed Avast from my PC and and installed your link. After a scan Security Essentials found this
