My husband has to share a room with his workmate when he is away from home. The workmate is a smoker and is a very bad snorer with the result that he can't get any sleep. The workmate is tempermental and my husband has said nothing to him. One option is to get another room. The workmate snores the whole night and might be quite for the last two hours. Is there any headphones that would block out the noise. Any solutions?

Regular earplugs shud be fine, once inserted properly

There's ear protectors like the ones builders use but doubt ye'd get a good nights sleep in them
